We are icoya (ee-co-ya) — an agile two-person design & development team based in Chicago and San Francisco. We love working with small companies that have big ideas and big aspirations: because we’re just like that.

Fall 2013

Projects updated! First off, we have given Forget Me Knodt a total facelift. Check it out here.

We've also helped out Inter City Maintenance, a Chicago-based condo maintenance firm. Enjoy!

what our clients say about us

As a small business owner, I always feel like the cobbler's kids with no shoes... a beautiful website always seemed like a luxury! But icoya proved that it's an attainable necessity. I'm so grateful for their creativity, talent and diligence. They kept me on task and built me a website that never fails to impress my customers and peers alike!

~ Janessa Knodt, Forget Me Knodt

I saw Forget Me Knodt's website and thought it was really charming and easy to navigate, and discovered icoya from there. I did a lot of shopping around for my website developer/designer and felt comfortable with icoya from the beginning. The fact that they are in different states from me made no difference, it was an enjoyable and stress-free process. Iko is a great designer and she understood my vision. Colin did a great job explaining the technical side of the process, and was very quick to respond when I had questions. They went above and beyond. It's been a great experience and I recommend them to anyone looking for a website designer.

~ Mai Hoang Ito, Bunch Studio

Icoya is the web team you dream about. Their work is exceptional and they not only develop and design a website that meets your expectations but is even better than you could have imagined! With great attention to detail, communication and insight, icoya is thorough and strategic in every step of the process. Because of icoya, I now have a website I am excited about and I know it will enhance my business' brand and impact sales. They brought my ideas to life with their incredible design talent and efficient web development skills. I highly recommend hiring icoya because it will be one of the best decisions you've ever made!

~ Oliva Wu, Zoie Events

Deciding to work with icoya was one of the smartest decisions we made when starting our consulting firm. From conceptualization to execution, icoya provides an outstanding mix of creative energy, technical expertise, and dedicated service. They've earned our highest recommendation.

~ Matt Bowers, Hook & Ladder

I met Iko & Colin of icoya through a neighbor whose floral design website I really liked. The streamlined, elegant, yet modern aesthetic created by icoya appealed to me and was exactly what I wanted for my brand. From proposal through creative development and production, the icoya team was a joy to work with…resulting in a brand ID and logo that will allow my new business to stand out from the competition. Iko & Colin are approachable and smart, and truly vested in making your business a success. They are partners in every sense of the word and I highly recommend them.
